Some of you may have noticed the abrupt halt in the release of our
The Kingdom of Ernor: The Graphic Novel.
The reason for this break in production was the sudden spiritual calling I received while meditating, which sent me around the world to train in spirituality with Tibetan monks. After which I realized I could now understand and speak to the local Yetis who dwell in the sacred valleys between the temples, where few men are allowed to tread. The Yetis told me my quest was not meant to lead me there, but to the Yogis who resided on the other side of Mount Sagarmāthā. I felt it was obligatory to conquer the mountain on my way, alone. After a few weeks of hardship and dangerous shear-cliff walls, while stopping occasionally to play SC2 on my laptop, I reached the peak.
Maybe this was my true destination all along, or maybe it was just the extremely low levels of oxygen in the air, but I was elated. I sat and reflected on my journey, and the image flashed into my mind of the pineal gland reversed, the snake of Kundalini energy flowing southward, eyes glowing red with the malice of cultural self-destruction, the entire thing a false realization, a hollow end blinding those who sought to see the truth!
I knew what I saw was important, I quickly assembled my paints and brushes and went work on the 240lb block of pure obsidian I had been carrying with me. There atop the mountain, my masterpiece was complete:

I knew I had to return home and share my revelation immediately, the experience of my journey was too profound, too important to be set aside awaiting my next adventure. This way I'd have the excuse of continuing this obviously made up adventure and meeting with the Yogis the next time we might need to take a break. And now I'm back!
That picture was actually drawn before I thought of any of this, just throwing random elements together quickly like a lot of my practice work (The original story was: I had an ice-cream cone, and a snake tried to steal it, but it turned out he was a sock-puppet, so it was okay). What's important is that we'll be releasing pages again, starting today. We will be releasing 1 page a week, every Sunday, until we get everything worked out, for our living situation, our script, our other projects, and my own artistic abilities (which I feel are still very young).
