I just made a last second push, in vain, for glad. Considering we broke 2240, and needed 2270, I'm sure if we had played yesterday, when we weren't winning 5 points a game, and losing 15, we could have easily made it. However, I'm wondering now if I even would want to. Pretty much, I was getting carried by the most OP thing ever: DK/Pally.
Guess what we fought. DK/Pally/Rogue, DK/Pally/Hunter, DK/Pally/Feral, Pally/Feral/Hunter.
Not to mention, the rating system is completely fucking broken. We lost to the 2nd highest rated team, nick/hamchook, and lost 12 points. They were 200 rating higher, and we lost 12 points. Makes sense!
I should have just stayed offline instead of trying to play this broken game.
But what bothers me most of all as a Rogue: I'm tired of flares and giant fucking insta-destealth AOEs. Just remove stealth from the game, and give us plate already, ffs, THIS SHIT IS RETARDED.
In fact, after writing that, just now, I got my first vanish reopen of the night. It was honestly the first fucking vanish reopen of the night, out of over 100 games. Awesome, man, stealth works in arena, where they know you're there, ahead of time. You totally have the element of surprise, and the Rogue class makes perfect sense. Especially standing on top of a frost trap on a flare.
I might have been even more appalled by the fucking retarded Gnomish Gladiator Generator, if I weren't getting carried by it myself.
One good thing I got out of the night: Killing Ming on FRAPS again. Only got one game against him, but it was funny hearing how hard he and his retarded team were raging on vent. Hey bro, mut+shatter combos totally take skill! At least Speedx's RMP knew how to CC.
The whole day was a borefest facing dk/pally, hunter/pally, dk/something etc. For every team that we managed to beat (which were quite alot of dk/pally, even pally/feral) we got around 6 points, yet lost 12+ points to the same retarded combos.
Oh and you mention this thing called stealth, what's stealth? I don't recall having that ability as a rogue this entire season, except for that 1 minute before the doors open and I get greeted with a flare, dnd and 20 frost traps.
Being an average-joe player myself, I've failed to break 1700 this season, playing Priest/Rogue in Cyclone EU.. It's been a terrible season.. With our abilities more broken than ever. It's depressing really, I'm thinking about playing my shaman instead, at least until they fix the rogues, no buffs needed, but at LEAST fix our class :(
